Established in 1985, Extras Management is the longest running and most established listing service in the industry. Extras Management was created by industry professionals to help actors find work in a more efficient manner. Our industry leadership over the years has set the standard for how the casting industry works today. No casting company or call-in service can match what we do. Combining the latest in software technology with our extensive knowledge of the casting industry, we are able to accurately track an actor's work history, looks, unique abilities and characteristics, along with their schedule of availability and booking dates.
We have the most comprehensive state of the art relational database in the entire industry which includes an unlimited number of personal attributes that we can track along with the ability to attach a photo to each particular attribute. That means if you have an LAPD uniform, we will attach a picture of you in the uniform to the database; if you have a tattoo, we will attach a picture of the tattoo to the database. All of this information is available to casting directors and yourself 24/7 via our EZcast(tm) website.
We use the latest technologies available giving you the choice of receiving notifications of bookings and details by text message, email, and/or by telephone so you never miss a call even if we already have you booked on set.
We are the only listing service in the industry open from 7:00 am until midnight on weekdays and staffing an on-call person with access to our booking the system on weekends. The established casting companies rely on us almost exclusively for rush calls, late bookings and to assist them with weekend casting needs.
